After Fletcher Magee, Axel Butey and Jerry Butsiel, Buducnost Voli has extended its collaboration with Yogi Ferrell.
Ferrell arrived at Buducnost in November 2023.
"The guy from Indiana won the hearts of fans from day one with his attitude towards the game, energy and quality he brought to the court. During previous seasons, he repeatedly showed how much he meant to our team, especially in moments when games were entering the decisive phase," Buducnost announced.
Ferel averaged 13,8 points, 2,4 rebounds and 4,4 assists in the AdmiralBet ABA League last season. His EuroCup averages were 13,2 points, 3,2 rebounds and 4,1 assists.
"He brought speed, energy and a recognizable shooting instinct to Podgorica. In the biggest matches and against the strongest rivals, he was one of the players who made the difference. When it was necessary to take responsibility, Jogi changed the rhythm of the game, created points where others did not see them and was often the advantage on our side. Ferel, with his games in the "blue and white" jersey, confirmed why he is considered one of the best guards in the ABA League, and he has a new opportunity to show it in the coming season," said Buducnost.
Ferel recently received a Montenegrin passport, so he will be able to play for the Montenegrin national team.
