Junior basketball players are champions in mini basketball for 2015

Junior basketball players won the championship title in mini basketball for boys born in 2015 and younger, after being the best at the final tournament in Bijelo Polje.

The Podgorica team defeated Budućnost Volija in the final 56:31. Third place was won by the tournament host, Jedinstvo, defeating KK Olymp 46:35.

Junior finished the season undefeated, having won all seven of their group's league games, and Buducnost was undefeated until the final.

On the first day of the tournament, the quarterfinal matches were played: Junior - All star 52:31, Budućnost Voli - Nikšić basket 42:24, Pro basket - Jedinstvo 24:56 and Olymp - Morača 37-18. On the second day, the semifinal matches and medal matches were played. Junior was better than Olimp 46:35, and Budućnost was better than Jedinstvo 51:46.

The fair play award went to Rastko Pavlović from Junior, and the recognition for the most cordial player went to Simon Ružić from Jedinstvo.

The gold medals and the winner's cup were presented to the Junior players by the competition commissioner Maja Milutinović, the silver medals to the Buducnost basketball players by the director of SC "Nikoljac" Marko Maslovarić, and the bronze medals to the Jedinstvo players by basketball referee Miloš Koljenšić.

As part of the 100th anniversary mini basketball tournament in Bijelo Polje, a panel was held under the slogan: "100 tournaments - thousands of dreams, mini basketball as the home of basketball", moderated by Boris Radonjić from KSCG and Boris Raičević from KK Jedinstvo, and panelists were Goran Vojinović, coach of Jedinstvo, Bojan Bakić, Fiba mentor for young player development and head coach of the U16 national team of Montenegro, Milica Jovanović, former captain of the Montenegrin national team and founder of the Full Circle program within the Fiba Women in Leadership initiative, and Maja Milutinović, commissioner of the mini basketball competition.

At the end of the tournament, the organizers presented the competition commissioner Maja Milutinović with a letter of appreciation for her help and support in the organization, as well as a congratulatory message for "fulfilled 100 tournaments and 1000 dreams."
