Serbian basketball coach and national team coach Dušan Alimpijević has extended his contract with Besiktas until the end of the 2027/28 season, the Istanbul club announced today.
"We continue our journey together with our head coach Dušan Alimpijević," Besiktas announced on their official social media accounts.
The statement states that Alimpijević, who took over the team in the 2023/24 season, has won the trust of the club and fans with his work.
"Since joining our club in the 2023/24 season, our head coach Dušan Alimpijević has won the hearts of our fans and the community, and we are confident that together we will achieve many more great successes. That is why Dušan Alimpijević has signed a new contract that binds him to the club until the end of the 2027/28 season," Bešiktaš announced.
The club wished the Serbian expert much success and new victories in the coming period.
Alimpijević will lead Besiktas in the Euroleague next season, which will represent the biggest challenge for the Turkish team since he took over the team.
