EuroLeague's best defender Alfa Dayalo will continue his career in the NBA, after agreeing to a one-year, $1,4 million contract with the Denver Nuggets, ESPN reported today.
As reported by ESPN, citing agents Jared Mutch and Javon Phillips from the Excel Sports Management agency, the 29-year-old basketball player signed a guaranteed contract with the Colorado team.
Dajalo arrives in Denver after notable performances in the Euroleague, where he won the award for the best defender in the competition last season while playing for Monaco.
The American, who studied at the University of Providence, will play in the NBA for the first time, and in Denver his teammate will be Nikola Jokić.
