French basketball player Rodrigue Buboa has left Efes after eight consecutive seasons with the Istanbul team, the Turkish club announced.
Buboa played 249 games in the Euroleague for Efes, winning two European Championship titles, in 2021 and 2022.
With Efes, he was the Turkish champion three times (2019, 2021, and 2023), while he won the Turkish Cup in 2022.
In his career so far, the 38-year-old guard has played for the French Cholet, Dallas Mavericks, Belgian Charleroi, Le Mans, Strasbourg and Baskonia.
He played a total of 322 games in the EuroLeague, scoring 3.221 points, along with 569 rebounds, 599 assists, 212 steals and 123 blocks.
He has made 528 three-pointers in his EuroLeague career, which ranks him 11th.
"We thank Rodrigo, who gave his all for years in our blue and white jersey, was the second captain of the first team and, with his fighting spirit, professionalism, gentlemanly demeanor and unforgettable contribution to our club, became one of the most special names in the history of Anadolu Efes," the club said in a statement.
