The Hapoel Tel Aviv basketball club confirmed today that Zach Leday is the club's new player.
The former Partizan basketball player signed a two-year contract with the Israeli club.
This 32-year-old basketball player comes to Hapoel from Milan, where he averaged 13,1 points and 4,2 rebounds in 30 games in the Euroleague last season.
He helped Milan win the Italian "double crown" in 2026. During his two terms at Milan, Ledey also helped his former team win another Coppa Italia trophy in 2021.
Leday played college basketball for the University of South Florida and Virginia Tech University, and began his professional career with Israel's Hapoel Galil Gilboa.
He made his Euroleague debut in the Greek Olympiacos jersey, and also played for Lithuanian Žalgiris and Partizan.
Ledej won the Lithuanian double with Žalgiris in 2020, while he lifted the ABA League trophy with Partizan in 2023.
In 226 EuroLeague games with Olympiacos, Zalgiris, Partizan and Milan, Leday accumulated 2.662 points, 1.023 rebounds and an overall utility index of 3.174.
He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the round four times, three times in the Milan jersey and once with Olympiacos.
