Primorje is working on forming a team for next season

Basketball club Primorje 1945 from Herceg Novi is putting the pieces together for the new season.

Next season, in addition to the First Montenegrin League, the team from Novalja will also play in the ABA2 championship, in which they debuted last season. Primorje won second place in the domestic championship last season, only to be defeated by Mornar in the quarterfinals. When it comes to the ABA2 league, the team finished in 11th place.

Primorje is working on forming a team for the next challenges, and it was announced that the contract of the young coach, Pavle Roganović, has been extended.

Roganović has been on the Primorje bench since December 2024, when he succeeded Marko Ičelić.

When it comes to the playing staff, Lazar Vukčević, Vasilije Todorović, Milija Miković, Dimitrije Marić and Brajan Vujotić arrived in Herceg Novi.

Vukčević is a winger, who also plays as a center, and last season played for Jedinstvo from Bijelo Polje and Sloboda from Tuzla. In his career, he wore the jersey of Podgorica Bemax, and passed through the junior national team of Montenegro.

Todorović plays as a guard and comes to Primorje from SC Derbija. He has progressed through all the junior national teams. He was part of the Next Generation team at the Euroleague tournament.

Miković plays as a winger. He started out in Mornar, and has also played for Slovenian Tajfun, Bosna, Hungarian ZTE, Gorica, Šibenik, Podgorica Bemax and Sloboda from Tuzla. He has played for the cadet and junior national teams of Montenegro.

Marić is a winger, and for the past two seasons he played for Radnički Kragujevac. He has played for Velika Plana twice, and once for Žitko and Željezničar Čačak.

Vujotić plays as a fullback and winger, and has played for Zeta for the past two seasons.

The collaboration was extended by Marko Grković and Novak Peković.

Grković plays on the wing, is the new captain of Novalja, and last season in the ABA2 league he averaged 5,3 points and 2,3 rebounds.

Peković is a guard, and in the regional competition he averaged 4,6 points and 1,9 rebounds.
