On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of this competition, the ABA League launched a vote to select the 25 greatest players in history.
Voting will last until August 9th, and voting participants will choose 25 basketball players from the list provided, whom they believe deserve a place among the greatest in ABA League history.
The voting is attended by fans, media representatives, all previous winners of the AdmiralBet ABA League Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, as well as coaches who have won the Best Coach award over the years.
The final selection will be determined based on votes from four groups:
- fans - five percent
- media representatives - five percent
- all previous MVP players of the ABA League - 20 percent
- all previous winners of the award for best coach - 70 percent
By combining the opinions of fans, media and the most prominent figures in the history of the regional competition, the ABA League aims to obtain a representative selection that will properly reflect its heritage.
