Washington basketball player John Wall will be out of action for more than a year as he will undergo Achilles tendon surgery, the NBA club announced today.
The ox injured his Achilles tendon by slipping in his house and falling.
Washington stated that the surgery has not yet been scheduled, but it is expected that Wall will be able to return to basketball a year after the surgery.
The rupture of the Achilles tendon was discovered by the club doctor while he was cleaning up an infection caused by the surgery on the left heel that Vol underwent at the beginning of January.
Vol averaged 20,7 points and 8,7 assists this season.
