The rematch between the heavyweight champion, the Ukrainian Alexander Usyk and the British Tyson Fury, will take place on December 21 in Saudi Arabia.
So, at the same venue in the Kingdom arena where Usik won his first match and inflicted the first defeat in his career on the King of the Gypsies, Fury.
Only this time, the stake will not be the title of absolute heavyweight champion, since Usik gave up the IBF title in June, so now the title of champion in that version belongs to Danijela Duboa.
Usik was the better opponent in the first fight, but still won by split decision.
"I'm going to have to knock him out because I'm not going to win by the judges' decisions. That's unfortunate, because simply winning a fight is a difficult task in itself. So I'm going to do my best to knock him down before the last gong. I heard that his jaw and eye socket were broken - Alexander, straighten up. See you in the ring Riyadh," Fury threatened
If the Ukrainian wins in the rematch, he will be able to "attack" both the IBF title and the title of absolute wrestler in the next fight.
