Montenegrin karate fighters finished the second competition day of the European Cadet, Junior and Young Senior Championships in Poland with five bronze medals.

The bronze medals were awarded to the younger seniors Balša Vojinović and Helena Backović and the juniors Una Raković and Jovana Damjanović in the fights and the men's cadet-junior kata team.

The team performed as follows: Benjamin Aljošević, Aleksa Janjić, Ajsel Gershwitz and Aleksa Barjaktarović.

The fifth-place women's cadet-junior kata team (Viktorija Raičević, Mia Ramović and Katarina Vlahović) was one step away from a medal, but suffered a defeat in the match for third place.

Juniors Jusuf Saljiu and Vuk Vučinić were also stopped in the repechage, and ended up taking seventh place, as were ninth-placed junior senior Dušan Bijelić and junior Nađa Boričić in the fights.

Yesterday, junior Katarina Vlahović won bronze in kata.
