Long-time sports worker Božidar Vuksanović passed away in Podgorica at the age of 66, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC) announced.
As a karateka, Vuksanović earned the title of top athlete of Montenegro.
"He is the holder of world and six European medals in karate, he was the president of the Boxing Association of Montenegro. He was a member of the MOC Board of Directors for several terms and was the originator of the idea of Olympism in Montenegro," the MOC announced.
Funeral details will be announced later.
Vuksanović was also the Secretary for Sports in the Municipality of Podgorica, a DPS MP in the Parliament of Montenegro...
