Montenegrin boxing will be represented at the international tournament in Brussels by Bojana Gojković and Tomislav Đinović, the Boxing Federation announced.
The Brussels Capital Tournament is scheduled for April 24th to 28th.
The tournament in La Hulpe, a suburb of Brussels, will bring together top boxers from all over the world and represents an important opportunity for affirmation on the European and world stage.
"The participation of Gojković and Đinović in that tournament represents an important step for Montenegrin boxing, especially in the context of the recent admission of the Boxing Federation of Montenegro to the World Boxing Federation (World Boxing), which further opens the door to Olympic qualifications and international competitions," the Boxing Federation said in a statement.
The tournament will be organized by the European Boxing Federation and hosted by Belgium, and the venue is a luxurious sports complex known for its top-notch conditions for preparations and competitions.
National team coach Nikola Ružić will be visiting Belgium with Montenegrin boxers.
