Montenegrin boxer Bojana Gojković has advanced to the finals of the prestigious international tournament "Le Santur" held in Argenteuil, a suburb of Paris.
The member of BK Budva defeated domestic boxer Lucy Poliak by unanimous decision in the semifinals of the 57 kg category.
Bojana was better throughout the fight, so the unanimous decision by the judges was an expected and realistic epilogue against a rival who also has experience in the professional ring.
"After a slightly slower start and a slight delay in reactions, once Bojana warmed up well, she took full control of the match and routinely won over the experienced boxer," said coach Nikola Ružić.
Bojana's rival in Saturday's final will be the winner of the fight between Canadian Ušana Seltan and another domestic competitor, Marianne D'Antoine.
Tonight at 20 pm, Tomislav-Bato Đinović will enter the ring and will fight against Frenchman Li Belazel in the semifinals of the 60 kg category.
