Montenegrin boxer Nikola Raičević advanced to the quarterfinals of the "Heydar Aliyev" junior boxing tournament in Baku.
Today, he defeated domestic fighter Ismail Nasirzade in the 48 kg category by unanimous decision.
Raičević's rival in the quarter-final match will be Georgian Emil Ismailov, who eliminated Russian Matvey Zaitsev in the round of 16.
Strahinja Mrdak (under 50) and Matija Roganović (under 80) made it to the top eight yesterday.
The other two Montenegrin representatives, Luka Otašević under 46 and Andrija Nikitović under 52 kilograms, were free to advance to the round of XNUMX.
Three coaches, Boško Drašković, Slavko Mrdak and Petar Marčić, are also staying in Baku with the Montenegrin boxers.
