Vuk Dabović won the gold medal, and Danilo Marković the bronze medal, at the "Ljah Nimani" international youth boxing tournament in Pristina.
In the final match of the 70 kg category, Dabović defeated Rion Bajrami from North Macedonia by stoppage in the first round.
His clubmate from the Podgorica Power boxing club Danilo Marković was stopped in the semifinals of the 65 kg category in a duel with Croatian Matej Morton.
Along with the gold medal, Dabović received the trophy for the most competitive pair of the tournament in the capital of Kosovo.
Coach Milorad Purić from BK Power Boxing traveled with Dabović and Marković to Pristina.
"The tournament in Pristina was extremely important, especially for the development of our youth. It was an ideal opportunity for them to feel the atmosphere of strong international matches, test what we train and learn how to deal with pressure. I am proud of how they reacted and how they presented themselves to the boxing public in the region and beyond," said coach Purić.
The memorial tournament, which was held in memory of the legendary coach of the Yugoslav national team, brought together competitors from Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, North Macedonia, Croatia, Ukraine, host Kosovo, and Montenegro at the Palace of Youth and Sports.
