Montenegrin boxing team members Bojana Gojković and Tomislav-Bato Đinović are in Žabljak as of today, where they will complete the first phase of preparations for the World Championships, which will be held in Liverpool from September 4th to 14th.
With them is the national team coach Nikola Ružić, who pointed out that they have exceptional working conditions in Žabljak - from a top-notch sports center with excellent equipment and professional rings, to accommodation and a hiking and recreational area in nature, excellent logistical support, to the isolation in the mountain environment.
"We will be in Žabljak for 20 days and carry out the first phase of preparations for the World Championship. We really have excellent working conditions here, thanks to the fact that BSCG President Aleksandar Klemenko provided the Sports Center in Žabljak with the most modern boxing equipment a few years ago. It is precisely the exceptional conditions that significantly increase the chances that Bojana and Tomislav will be maximally prepared and in top shape for the World Championship," said Ružić and added:
"After completing the work in Žabljak, we will face the second phase in St. Petersburg, then a control tournament, and then final preparations for Liverpool," concluded coach Nikola Ruzic.
