Montenegrin professional boxer Milorad Žižić will box tomorrow in Nikšić against Dane Kim Poulsen, in the main fight of the Night of Champions show.
This will be Žižić's second match this year, after he defeated Leon Marić on July 26 in Cologne.
In his professional career, he recorded 14 wins, eight of which were by knockout, with two losses.
He was the WBC Mediterranean Champion and the IBF Youth World Champion. Both of his career losses came in the United States, in matches for the American Championship title.
Žižić and Poulsen will face off in the super middleweight category (up to 76 kilograms), and the match is scheduled to last eight rounds.
Žižić said that the upcoming match has special significance for him, because after many years he is boxing in his city, in front of his fellow citizens and family.
"The audience is my additional strength. I'm expecting an experienced rival, he says he knows everything about me, which is a little more difficult. Now any talk is redundant, we'll leave it for tomorrow in the ring. He's an experienced fighter, he knows how to box, he has a good front hand. I'll start slowly, and as soon as the opportunity opens up, he'll go," said Žižić after the weigh-in.
The experienced Dane has recorded 32 victories in the professional ring in his career.
"I know everything about Žižić, I scouted him well. He is a quality fighter, there are no secrets in boxing, and he knows everything about me. The audience will be a big advantage for him, and I am looking forward to the fight because it will be one of the last in my now long career. This is my first time in Montenegro, in Nikšić, and my impressions are more than positive," said Poulsen.
Dilan Prašović will box in the main opening bout, experienced MMA fighter Vaso Bakočević will make his professional debut, and Montenegrin national team member Tomislav Đinović will also box.
The show is scheduled to begin at 20 p.m. at the Nikšić Sports Center.
