FNC 26 Meridianbet will take place today in Podgorica, and after yesterday's successfully completed weigh-in, positive news has arrived that we will be watching all 10 fights at the event.
The audience in Podgorica will have the opportunity to cheer on six fighters from Montenegro in the octagon tonight - Miloš Janičić, Vaso Bakočević, Luka Bubanja, Dalibor Dragojević, Aleksandar MIhailović and Milenko Stamatović.
The main fight will be between Miloš Janičić, who has a career record of 18 wins and three losses, and Aleks Oliveira - a man who has several serious UFC fights behind him.
He has respect for his opponent, but Janičić confidently announced this fight at the final weigh-in.
In the event of a victory over an opponent who has a positive record in the UFC (11-10), the Montenegrin fighter would once again show that he is ready for the biggest stage.
"There is this story and the UFC event in Belgrade should be confirmed soon. You could say that this is a dress rehearsal for my entrance onto the biggest stage. Oliveira is the biggest name I've fought, maybe the best opponent, but I think his style suits me and I believe I will win," Janičić told Meridian Sport.
The welcome at the airport after the fight with Marko Bojković is something that Miloš Janičić will remember for the rest of his life, and now he expects an unforgettable atmosphere at “Morača”.
"I hope to create memories like at the reception. It's something you remember for a lifetime. I wonder if there will be torches. I hope they won't be too loud at first because I like to fight in peace, and then after a win and a knockout, the madness starts."
This year, he received an invitation from Ilija Topuria, who was preparing to fight for the UFC lightweight belt, and sparring with a fighter who currently holds two UFC belts meant a lot to the Montenegrin fighter.
Topuria easily won the belt against Charles Oliveira (knockout in the first round), but the Montenegrin fighter positively surprised him during the preparations.
"I was brought in for two days of sparring. He thought I would be cannon fodder, but he was a little surprised when he later said so. That was a good test and confirmation for me that I can fight any man in MMA in stand-up."
Podgorica remembers Strugar's knockout of Zildžić well from 2009.
Although in another martial art, the Montenegrin public believes that Janičić, who has won all 18 of his fights by knockout, will stage a new memorable finish tomorrow.
"I'm hoping for a clean knockout, because that's the best feeling on the planet. I hope I can pull it off," Janičić told Meridian Sport.
The second big fight will be between Vaso Bakočević and Artur Sovinski.
The Pole celebrated 11 years ago in KSW, but Bakočević believes in a rematch in the barn tomorrow.

"This will backfire on him. He's tried boxing, kickboxing, MMA, but this is special. I've let him feel the bone a little now, and tomorrow it's a fight, like a fight. I'm entering the cage to the song Ivan Gavrilović - 200 per hour. It's going to be crazy."
He was not retired for long, although he announced his retirement after his defeat by Petar Ražov.

In the welterweight category, Dalibor Dragojević will fight against Salver Mahmić, while Aleksandar Mihailović will face Ilija Brkan.
In kickboxing, Stefan Dobrijević received big boos from the audience, who will eventually fight against a promising member of the MMA club "Omladinac" - Luka Bubanja.
The young Montenegrin fighter accepted the fight after Mihailo Ćulafić withdrew.
The only fight for the belt will be between Miljan Zdravković and Josh Hill in the bantamweight division.
In the other duels, we will watch the fights between: Tomislav Sičaja vs. Zoran Solaja, Ahmed Vila vs. Luka Giorgadze and Ivana Petrović vs. Sara Luzar Smajić.
