Boxers from Bijelo Polje will compete tomorrow in Zrenjanin in the fifth round of the Balkan Open regional competition.
The honor of the Bijelo Polje club will be defended by five boxers: cadets Savo Šarčević (under 54), Matija Kojović (under 57), juniors Milutin Šćekić (under 54) and Omar Bahović (under 63) and captain Mirko Šarčević (under 80).
Šarčević's rival will be Gabrijel Jović (BiH), Kojović awaits Nenad Nakov (North Macedonia), Šćekić will fight Lazar Dimitrov (North Macedonia), Bahović is expected to duel with Kristijan Đukić (BiH), while Mirko Šarčević will meet Dario Tomic from Serbia.
"The most is expected from Šarcević's fight against a very high-quality domestic boxer. The match was declared the hit of the evening. The club occupies a high fifth place out of 36 clubs, and our ambitions are now even greater, especially before the eighth round, in which Bijelo Polje is the host," the Bijelo Polje club said in a statement.
The team is led by coach Mugoša Kovačević and Budimir Radošević.
