The Karate Federation of Montenegro (KSCG) will continue to monitor and promote all the values promoted by the European and World Karate Federations in the coming period, said President Igor Ognjenović.
During the European Championships in Limassol, he spoke with the first man of European and world karate, Antonio Espinosa.
Ognjenović thanked Espinoza for the strong support that the World and European Karate Federations provide to the Karate Association.
"In a pleasant and constructive conversation, Espinos congratulated Ognjenović on his election as president and expressed his satisfaction with the results continuously achieved by Montenegrin karate players and everything that the Karate Federation of Montenegro does for the development of this sport," the Karate Federation said in a statement.
It is stated that one of the topics of discussion was the organization of the European Senior Championships, which will be hosted by Podgorica in 2028.
