A member of the Podgorica Boxing Club, Nikola Ilić won a gold medal at the Olympic Hopes tournament in Subotica.
In the final match of the 57 kg category, in the schoolboy age group (U15), Ilić defeated Vuk Mandić from BK Voždovac and deservedly won the gold medal.
This result represents a significant step in his sporting development and confirmation of the quality that the young boxer from Podgorica is already showing on the international stage.
The Olympic Hopes Tournament brought together competitors from Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
For Ilić, the tournament in Subotica was an excellent opportunity to gain new experience and competitive self-confidence.
He won a bronze medal at the European Championships in Budva last year, and this year he will have the opportunity to compete again at the European Championships in the same age category, where he will try to continue his series of successful results.
