Bronze for Andrijana Šutović at the European Cup

Montenegrin judoka Andrijana Šutović won bronze at the European Junior Cup in Kaunas.

In the match for third place in the 70-kilogram category, she defeated Ukrainian Lyudmila Vozniuk by a point after a minute and 13 seconds of fighting.

Andrijana opened the competition with a triumph over another Ukrainian, Karina Desitanjik, whom she defeated by ippon, and in the quarterfinals she defeated Romanian Anamarija Sucia with two vasaris.

She suffered her only defeat after a great fight in the semifinals.

Gajane Pogosjan defeated Andrijana Šutović with a "golden point" and subsequently won the most prestigious award.

However, this failure did not deter her, as she quickly and effectively triumphed in the bronze medal match.
