Boxers from Bijelo Polje in Niš on Sunday

Boxers from Bijelo Polje will compete tomorrow in the ninth round of the Balkan Open regional league in Niš, within which the Emperor Constantine the Great memorial tournament will be held, the club announced.

Eight boxers will defend the honor of Bijelo Polje boxing.

Cadet Petar Milićević will meet with Strahinja Đorđević (under 48), junior Matija Kojović (under 54) will fight with Strahinja Vasić, while Savo Šarčević (under 57) will once again face Serbian national team member Ilhan Šaćirović.

Omar Bahović (under 63) will face Miloš Tijanić, and Tarik Hrapović (under 70) will face Valentin Strizovski.

Young Milutin Šćekić (under 55) will take to the ring with Jovan Dimitrijević, Daris Mušović (under 70) will fight against Tadija Georgijev, and Ildan Grbović (under 80) will fight against Matija Pecić.

"Despite the unfavorable draw for our competitors, we expect a good result in Niš, especially since this is the penultimate round of the league, in which the overall standings will be decided, as will the final round on June 6 in Ohrid. Our club is currently in third place with ambitions for second, so tomorrow's results will give a clearer picture of the overall standings," the Bijelo Polje club said in a statement.

The competition organizer announced that 54 fights will be held and that due to the large number of participants, the fights will be organized in two rings.
