Milorad Mićko Žižić is the WBO intercontinental champion, after knocking out Ghanaian boxer Delali Miledzi after 30 seconds of fighting in the second round in a match for the belt.
From the start, in front of the home crowd, the 39-year-old from Nikšić knew what he wanted, slowly approaching his tall rival, and then unexpectedly landed a right hook to the temple. A combination of a left uppercut and another hook followed, and the 33-year-old Miledzi fell to the floor of the SC "Nikšić" ring.
However, the sturdy boxer from Ghana recovered very quickly and unexpectedly, and after the count, Mićko, carried by the roar from the stands, set out to seize the moment.
However, he underestimated his rival and landed a direct right after which he was counted out. The fighter from Ghana did not move forward immediately, he waited and in the finish of the first round he landed several devastating blows, but Miledze was saved by the gong.
However, there was no help in the second round, as Mićko started violently from the start and with a series of punches broke through his rival's guard, forcing the referee to stop the match.
Mićko won his 17th professional fight, 11 by knockout, and has two losses. His rival suffered a defeat after 33 wins, 23 by knockout.
Tomislav Đinović delivered on his promise in the main opening bout - he "defeated" Felix Ajon from Ghana in the lightweight category. The tall and wiry Ajon did not expect Bato to have such a devastating punch, and he hit him with a right hook and the boxer from Ghana fell after just 25 seconds.
The fighter from Ghana tried to come back, looking for space and opportunities to use his greater reach, to hit his rival with a right uppercut, but the boxer from BK Zlatičanin was ready.
He approached and did not give up on the open fight. As a reward, his left uppercut came, the destructive power of which Ajon did not expect, but the popular Bato hits equally devastatingly with both fists. This was followed by combinations of right and left hooks and the match was over with 70 seconds left in the first round.
Bato has won all five of his professional fights, the fourth time by knockout. He is also building a successful Olympic career, winning the Belgrade championship and bronze at the European Senior Championships.
