Dubua fell and "broke" Vardeli

British boxer Daniel Dubuia has won the WBO heavyweight world professional champion title.

That belt was taken away from Ukrainian Alexander Usik because he did not defend it within the stipulated time.

Dubois defeated compatriot Fabio Vardeli in Riyadh by technical knockout in the 11th round.

He won the belt after a major turnaround, as he was on the ring floor within the first ten seconds of the fight, after a right hook from his rival. The referee counted him out again in the third round.

Dubois took control midway through the match, inflicting serious facial injuries on his opponent.

Referee Howard Foster stopped the fight at the very beginning of the 11th round due to the former champion's severe nosebleed and almost completely closed right eye.

Dibua recorded his 23rd victory in 26 professional fights and won the world championship belt for the second time in his career.

This is the first defeat in Vardley's career, and he has recorded 20 wins, while one fight ended in a draw.
