Boxers from Bijelo Polje won second place in the overall standings of the regional Balkan Open League, while they finished third in the Olympic Hopes standings.
The successful final tournament of the Bijelo Polje club in Ohrid was completed by junior Vasilije Bugarin (peko 80), who was named the best foreign boxer, and Mugoša Kovačević, who received the award for the best coach of the league for this season.
The team from Bijelo Polje was in third place in the overall standings before the tournament in Ohrid, and needed five wins to equalize with the Olimpikus team from Novi Pazar.
The victories for BK Bijelo Polje were achieved by juniors Matija Kojović (without a fight), Uroš Šćepanović by unanimous decision, while Savo Šarčević, Omer Bahović and Vasilije Bugarin celebrated by stoppage.
"Despite their excellent performances, the defeats were recorded by Petar Milićević, Petar Milošević, Meris Mušović and Tarik Hrapović.
The championship title was previously secured by the Pančevo Boxing Club.
