International boxing referee from Montenegro, Blažo Jabučanin, has received an official invitation from the World Boxing organization to dispense justice at World Cup 2, which will be held in the Chinese city of Guiyang from June 15 to 21, 2026.
After qualifying for the Youth Olympic Games in Thailand, Jabučanin received an invitation to the World Cup in China.
The invitation to one of the most important competitions in the World Boxing calendar is a great recognition for Jabučanin, who has been successfully building an international refereeing career for years and representing Montenegro at the most important world boxing events.
Of particular note is his recent involvement in the qualification tournament for the Youth Olympic Games - Dakar 2026, which was held in Thailand, where as an international referee he was responsible for conducting and evaluating matches between the world's best young boxers.
For Jabučanin, the invitation to the World Cup in China is confirmation of the high reputation he enjoys in international boxing circles, as well as recognition for his expert and professional work.
"It is a great honor to receive an invitation to referee at the World Cup in China. This is a confirmation of my work so far, but also an additional motivation to represent Montenegro on the international stage in the best possible way. I am grateful to World Boxing for the trust they have shown me and I am looking forward to the new challenge," said Jabučanin.
By participating in this prestigious competition, Jabučanin will once again represent Montenegro on the world's largest boxing stage, confirming that Montenegrin sports workers and officials have a significant place in international sports organizations.
