Marko Vešović is enjoying the warm football autumn.
The Montenegrin representative with the "falcons" is first in the table after the first three rounds of qualification for the World Cup.
He is also at the top of the Croatian Football League (HNL) - his Rijeka is the only undefeated team after 12 rounds and has 32 points, 6 more than the closest rival Dinamo.
The difference was made in the derby played on September 18, in which the 25-year-old from Podgorica was the man of the match with two goals (5:2).
"We're playing powerfully, we're doing great. Just look at how we're crushing our rivals," Vešović said in an interview with the website goal.hr.
"We're doing great, but there's no euphoria. Last year we had plus four after 16 rounds and in the end we weren't even autumn champions! We know very well that it follows us and that's why there's no relaxation. Dinamo will definitely rise."
Vešović has been at the Rijeka club since the summer of 2014. It took him time to get used to the environment and the demands of Slovenian coach Matjaž Kek.

Life in Croatia pleases the former player of Budućnost, Crvena zvezda and Torino.
"Now I'm in Rijeka, I live in Trsat, but I often go for lunch or a walk in Opatija with my girlfriend. I don't have a particular hobby, I like to walk. I like to get to know Croatia. I often go to Zagreb, I've visited many national parks. I enjoy that ."
Marko Vešović is enjoying the game this fall, fans of "Sokol" and Rijeka can see it on the field.
