In the match of the International Champions Cup, Atletico Madrid defeated Tottenham in Melbourne with a score of 1:0.
The match was played at the "Melbourne Cricket Ground" stadium, which has a capacity of over 100 spectators, and slightly less than half of the seats were filled.
The only goal of the match was scored by Diego Godin in the 40th minute.
Montenegrin representative Stefan Savić played the entire match for Atlético in a pair with Godin.
It was the second game of Atletico Madrid in the preparatory period, and Diego Simeone's team defeated Numancia 2:0 in the first.
In the first preparatory match, Tottenham lost to Juventus with 2:1.
