Somewhat unexpectedly, Marko Šćepanović left Mladost only ten days after the end of the championship, in which his team won the title.
Everything that could be won in the past two years, both on a collective and personal level, Šćepanović won while wearing the Mladost jersey.
In addition to the cup winner's cup last year and the championship title this year, the 33-year-old offensive player was selected as the best player of Telekom 1. CFL for 2015 in the FSCG poll, while he finished last season as the league's top scorer, grabbing the Radio Montenegro trophy.
In the election of the Union of Professional Footballers, he was also selected for the best team of the league.
"We were not on the same side, the management had one plan, I had another, but I wouldn't talk about the reasons," Šćepanović said.
"I leave the club with raised foreheads, completely fulfilled, because I won everything, even on an individual level".
Apart from Vuković, striker Ivan Vuković also left Mladost, whose contract also expired.
"The only thing I regret about leaving are the players. It's a great group of guys, we were friends both on and off the field. Nothing else is worth mentioning," said Šćepanović, who is looking for a new club.
"I will follow the development of the situation both on the domestic and international scene. From Mladost, I can only go to a bigger club".
