Slovenian football player Josip Ilicic said today that he is happy in Fiorentina despite rumors that he could leave that club in the summer.
"I am happy in Fiorentina, my biggest wish is to stay in Italy," Ilicic told Slovenian media.
Ilicic, who arrived in Fiorentina in 2013 from Palermo, scored 13 goals and registered five assists this season.
"When you've been in a team for so many years, it's normal to be linked with other clubs, but I'm only focused on Fiorentina and our goal - winning third place," he said.
After 30 rounds played, Fiorentina is fourth in the Serie A table with 55 points, the same number as fifth-placed Inter, i.e. five points less than Roma, which is third.
