Sutjeska and Grbalj played a peaceful 0:0 in Jaz, in a friendly match, which was the last test for both teams before the continuation of the championship (next Tuesday).
Both teams had their chances to record a victory, and the best one was missed by the captain of Sutjeska, Jovan Nikolić, who returned from Partizani from Tirana, who did not take the penalty.
"A pretty good test, although the weather conditions were not favorable for football due to the strong wind. The most important thing is that nobody got hurt and that we all go home healthy," said Nikolić, who finished preparations with his team in Igalo.
Both camps claim that they are ready to welcome the continuation of the championship. Sutjeska's goal is to connect with the teams fighting for Europe (Nikšić are 6th in the table), and Grbljan to bring the championship to an end without worrying about survival (they are currently 9th in the table).
In the first round of the second half of the season, Sutjeska plays the biggest Montenegrin derby against Budućnost in Podgorica, while Grbljani welcomes Petrovac.
"I think we prepared well, a lot of things came together in the right way. The atmosphere in the team is excellent and if we continue like this we will be a tough nut for all opponents. I have to emphasize that in the six games we have played we have not conceded a goal and that is a big step forward compared to the first part," added Nikolić.
Grbljani are entering the continuation of the championship with a new coach - Miljan Radović, who already led the team from Radanović once last season.
"A coach came who we are looking for, whose work we are already used to, and these are all positive signals for the second part. We worked very well, played a lot of preparatory games that showed that we are a serious team and that we should not worry about relegation or playoffs." , said Grbljan offensive midfielder Petar Vukčević.
In the first half of the season, Grbljani were without Glavan (moved to Mladost) and Milojko (Zeta), and the biggest reinforcement was the arrival of the defensive midfielder from Velež, Marko Nikolić.
The teams performed in the following formations:
Sutjeska: Ličina, Marković, Stefanović, Ćuković, Šofranac, Nikolić, Vuković, Milovac, Grbović, Zarubica, Kordić. They also played: Stijepović, Lončar, Vučić.
