Arsene Wenger is a serious candidate for the new coach of Bayern Munich, reports "Bild".
Bayern is nine points behind the leader Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, so the Bavarians are thinking about replacing Niko Kovac, and the experienced Frenchman is mentioned as an ideal solution.
In the current German champions, they believe that the former Arsenal coach has the skills and knowledge to steer the club in the right direction, and another advantage is that Wenger is fluent in German.
The Frenchman previously expressed his desire to return to coaching from January.
Bayern are without a win in the league since October 27.
