Round of XNUMX second legs of the Cup, eight games - except for the crystal favorites to advance to the quarterfinals.
The first matches gave many answers and if miracles do not happen, Lovćen, Zeta, Mladost, Bokelj and Dečić will advance to the next stage. On the other hand, Rudar, Budućnost and Sailor have a great chance to pass after minimal triumphs in the first games.
Motivated Sutjeska attacks Rudar
Of course, not everything is solved. In the duel between the finalists of the first edition of the Cup in independent Montenegro, the two last champions clash, Sutjeska will try to make a feat in Nikšić and make up for the minimal defeat against Rudar from the first match in Pljevlje.
"In the first game, we showed that we can play against Rudar. We had several good chances and we didn't deserve to lose. That's why the result in the second leg is very important for us than the impression we will leave with the game. We want to eliminate Rudar, everyone in the team is ready and motivated and I believe that we will make it to the quarterfinals, despite the unfavorable result from the first game," said coach Sutjeska Aleksandar Nedović.
With the defeat against Mladost, the players of Pljevlja lost a step behind the leader, and the Cup is the first chance for redemption.
"It won't be easy in Nikšić after the lost derby in Podgorica, but if we are real, then we should show it precisely in situations when not everything goes as planned. There, however, we are certainly waiting for a motivated rival who will try to use the home field and reach a minimum gap from Pljevlje. We also have certain personnel problems, the suspended Knežević will also be missing, who settled the match under Golubinja, but all this does not disturb our intention to reach the quarter-finals", says assistant coach Vuko Bogavac.
The future with Grblje, an overture for the championship
With the victory in Radanovići (2:1), Buducnost completed a large part of the job of passing on, it remains to be seen whether today's rematch with Grblje will be just a prelude to the collision of two teams in the championship, at the same stadium in just three days (Saturday).
"We are very close, but we haven't finished the job. Any relaxation can be fatal and that's why we are going for victory in the second leg," says Budućnost left back Risto Radunović.
