The fact that Qarabag played in the group stage of the Europa League last season, and even Inter could not win at the stadium in Baku (0:0), shows what kind of task awaits the players of Rudar.
Coach Gurban Gurbanov, the scorer of two goals for Azerbaijan in the legendary match against SCG in Podgorica in 2003 (2:2), spoke of Rudar with respect yesterday.
"I watched several games and saw that they have quality players. It's a good team, the best in Montenegro, and it won't be easy for us if we don't have a serious approach. And if we play as we know, I'm sure it won't be problems," said Gurbanov.
Qarabag's ambitions are much bigger than the 2nd round of the qualifiers...
"We want to go far. And against Rudar, the goal is to finish the job in the first match," added the Qarabag coach.
