The Regular Assembly of the Football Association of Montenegro was held today in the "Ramada" hotel in Podgorica.
During the presentation of FSCG president Dejan Savićević, general secretary Momir Đurđevac, delegates and guests, there was talk about the financing of the Federation, the structure of income and expenses, about investments in representative selections, about various, mostly infrastructural plans... The project for the renovation of the "Sveti" stadium was also presented Petar Cetinjski" in Cetinje.
"The first goal in the coming period is to create all the preconditions for the senior national team to play as well as possible and achieve the best possible result in the further course of the qualifications. I am happy that in the last few games a lot of young footballers appeared who will be the mainstay of the national team in the next cycles. Of course that we will not forget the other selections, from which we expect good results. FSCG will also pay attention to domestic competitions, the education of referees and coaches, grassroots football. We will continue to invest in infrastructure, and we will be active in the field of social and social responsibility," said Savićević .
Appealing to the clubs, mainly from the first league, to pay more attention to the younger categories, the FSCG president also spoke about infrastructure.
"The work on the House of Football is going according to plan, while the work on the installation of floodlighting at the Sutjeske stadium should be completed in the first half of August. Danilovgrad, and soon the field with artificial grass should be given to the new second league team, Brskovo," said Savićević.
The Assembly session was attended by 43 out of a total of 51 delegates. A proposal for amendments to the Disciplinary Rulebook was also adopted, and it was decided that cooperation with the Eurorev audit house would be extended for another two years.
What is particularly interesting is that none of those present, including the president of the association and the general secretary, mentioned a detail that marked the football and sports year in Montenegro in general - the suspension of the match with Russia in Podgorica on March 27, so before only three months and ten days.
Neither with a polite reminder, nor even with an appeal to the state authorities to help the Association in this not-so-simple fight - was the current biggest problem of Montenegrin football, the fight against hooliganism, not mentioned.
In the current qualification cycle, the national team of Montenegro lost the match by the official result due to the fans, the stadium is under suspension, the Association is under a suspended sentence, with a lot of fines. If these are normal circumstances - then they really do not deserve to be mentioned, even at the session of the highest body of the House of Football.
Did the heat of July in Podgorica shorten the memory of those responsible in the federation to treat the torch to the head of the Russian goalkeeper Akinfeev as if it happened four years ago, and not a few months ago, not to mention the events in the match Buducnost - Spartaks Jurmala last Thursday (the match is due to firecrackers almost interrupted in the 5th minute) were not enough to even mention the problem.
Anyone who attended the FSCG Assembly session today would conclude that - there is no problem.
