The second league club Kom received an auxiliary field with an artificial surface.
As stated on the FSCG website, with the joint investment of the Capital City and the Football Association in the local community of Zlatica in Podgorica, a field with artificial grass was built for the needs of FK Kom.
According to the project, a field with natural grass will be built next to it. The works, in which the accompanying contents necessary for the playing of championship matches (benches for reserve players and officials, goals, protective nets) will be built, are in progress.
"By investing in the construction of the complex in Zlatica, we continued our work on the development and improvement of football infrastructure in Montenegro. The football association invested funds in Zlatica for the construction of an auxiliary field with artificial grass, an irrigation system and accompanying furniture. Also, when it comes to the construction of the field with natural grass, FSCG has provided the funds for the sod, the irrigation system and the prefab stand for 600 spectators, which all together is an investment worth about 380.000 euros. Once this complex is operational, and we expect it to be soon, we will solve the problem and fulfill the long-standing desire that this part of the city, where over 25.000 people live, finally gets adequate conditions for playing football," said FSCG Secretary General Momir Đurđevac.
In parallel with the works on Zlatica, as it is stated, the implementation of another project is underway, which is mostly financed by the Football Association of Montenegro - works on the installation of floodlights are being carried out at the City Stadium in Nikšić.
