"The break was short, most of the footballers had a little rest last summer as well. It's a really fierce rhythm, but we know the obligations, we all have to be professionals", Nenezić said to the footballers before the first training session.
Sutjeska will start the European duties with the same team in which she finished the last championship, but the problem is the striker - the best scorer of the team and the entire league, Goran Vujović, was suspended for three European matches due to the sending off against Šerif last summer and therefore will not play in the first round .
"Yes, we lack a striker, Vujović is our best scorer and a very important part of the team. As for the others, I hope that a deadline will be set for when they can leave, so that we can think about reinforcements in time. Because, no we are only preparing for Europe, a new championship race awaits us," said Nenezić.
Qualification for the Europa League is now, however, the priority. Much will depend on the draw, the people of Nikšić hope that they will have an easier job than in the previous two years, when they were eliminated both times by the financially incomparably more powerful Sherif from Tiraspol in the Champions League qualifiers.
"We have to treat European matches with respect. Those matches are a big obligation for us, regardless of the fact that Sutjeska plays such matches every summer. We will comment on our ambitions only when we know the name of the opponent," Nenezić said, who presented the "formula" he will try. to implement.
