Sutjeska outplayed and defeated Petrovac and kept pace with the teams at the top of the table, which also achieved certain triumphs.
It was 1:0 at the end of Bistrica, and the only goal was scored by Goran Vujović in the 56th minute, so Petrovčani received a goal after two tied triumphs of 2:0 each in the championship.
"The weather was difficult for the game, with a lot of wind, and in the first half, although we were positioned well, we did not manage to threaten them. The continuation was much more interesting, especially we were good in the first 20 minutes and the goal came as a reward. This is an important victory for us, especially since Petrovac is a serious team, and I hope that this is just one in a series of positive results," said Sutjeska midfielder Jovan Nikolić.
Sutjeska also triumphed in the second tied match under the command of coach Brajan Nenezić. Defending the title may not be a reality, but the reigning champion is not giving up just like that...
With this victory, the people of Nikšić remained seven points less than the leaders Rudar, and one less than Mladost, which is in the second position.
"Obviously, the change on Sutjeska's bench brought a positive reaction, because Nikšić won all six points in the last two matches. The game was difficult to watch. The home team took advantage of our mistake in the middle of the field and scored a goal, and then we were able to equalize. However, I would say that we didn't even deserve the points, because we played the game at a lower level than we should have," said Petrovac assistant coach Rudolf Roki Marčić.
