You've never seen a mascot like this before: the Belarusian Sculptor "strikes fear into the bones"

It is not uncommon for football teams or national teams to have their own mascots.

They are usually cute animals that entertain fans, use for photo shoots or for commercial purposes.

The Football Association of Belarus went a step further and promoted the "terrifying" mascot of the national team - Vajara (Warrior in translation).

The sculptor is presented as a transformer with national symbols and a sword in the colors of the Belarusian flag.

Perhaps his role is to raise the fighting morale of football players, but also to intimidate opponents...
