The head coach of the Montenegrin national team, Branko Brnović, invited four new players for friendly matches with the selections of Slovakia and Iran.
Coach Brnović invited Danijel Petković from Bokelje, left back Metalurg from Zaporozhe Saša Balić, Čelik game organizer Darko Zorić and Rudar midfielder Miroj Jovanović for the matches to be played on May 23 in Senec and May 26 in Hartberg.
Balić last appeared for the "brave falcons" in May 2012 in a draw away to Belgium, while Jovanović made his only appearance in the A team's jersey away to Luxembourg. The fast-footed midfielder scored the third goal for our team in a 4:1 victory.
Petković and Zorić were invited to the senior team for the first time. Goalkeeper Bokelja and midfielder Čelika are standard members of the young national team.
Coach Brnović will not be able to count on Mirko Vučinić, Dejan Damjanović, Stefan Savić, Fatos Bećiraj and Nemanja Nikolić for the upcoming matches, while the performance of four players who play for Crvena Zvezda and Partizan - Sava Pavićević, Filip Kasalica, Nikola Drinčić and Vladimir Volkov.
