The new coach of Monaco could be the head of Benfica's coaching staff, Jorge Jesus - today's French L'Equip claims that the Portuguese expert is close to signing a contract with the French club.
It is reported that Žesus has been offered a two-year contract, with an option to extend it for another year.
It would be the first time in his career that Jesus, who speaks French, leaves Portugal.
According to the French newspaper, the departure of Monaco's current coach Claudio Raniero is almost a done deal, and the club's sports advisor, Portuguese Luis Campos, was in Lisbon on Friday to negotiate the details of the contract with Jesus.
The 2009-year-old Jesus has been at the helm of Benfica since 2010, and since then he has won two Portuguese championship titles with that club - in 2014 and XNUMX.
