Livorno will fight for survival until the last breath, and enters the decisive battle with a new coach.
More precisely, with the returning player - the club from Tuscany announced that Domenico di Carlo was fired and that the team will be led by Davide Nikola until the end of the season.
Nikola started the season as coach of Livorno, but was fired in January of this year due to poor results.
Then Di Carlo took over the team, but today's defeat against Milan at "San Siro" (3:0), which is the 5th in the last six rounds, cost him his job.
Livorno last won in Serie A on March 16, against Bologna at home (2:1), so it is currently the penultimate team in the table, with three points less than Bologna, which is above the relegation zone.
By the way, before these two terms on the bench of Livorno, Nikola managed the lower division Lumezan, where he retired as a football player in 2010.
