The Russian Football Federation (RFU) announced today that it will discuss with the European Football Union (UEFA) and the International Football Federation (FIFA) about the possibility of Crimean clubs being included in the Russian league.
RFU spokesman Igor Vladimirov said that the national association has long discussions ahead, stating that "it's the world of football, and we can't decide on it ourselves".
"That process is far from clear. Many issues, such as sponsorships, still need to be worked out, there must also be political understanding, but the clubs from Crimea will definitely finish this season in Ukraine," Vladimirov said, as reported by AP.
