Monaco football player Radamel Falcao will miss the upcoming league match against Geng since he has not sufficiently recovered from a thigh injury, the French club announced today.
"Falcao is still recovering from a thigh muscle injury. The recovery is progressing, but Falcao is not yet able to play matches," the statement said.
The Colombian striker has scored nine goals in 14 league games, but has not played since November 24 and the game against Nantes.
The media speculate that Chelsea is interested in him and that he could go to Stamford Bridge during the winter transfer window.
During the summer transfer window, Falcao moved from Atletico Madrid to Monaco for 60 million euros.
Monaco is second in the French league table with 38 points from 17 games and is two points behind first-placed Paris Saint-Germain.
