Rikard Norling is no longer the coach of Malmo as of today - Norling resigned, just one month after leading the club to their 17th Swedish league title.
"He thought about it for a while and decided that it was impossible to continue working without full energy," the 42nd expert told reporters in the city in the south of the country.
The Swedish media previously pointed out that there are disagreements between the head of the coaching staff and the club's management, despite the success on the field.
"A good friend and colleague has resigned, this is a sad day for Malmö," said club manager Per Nilsson.
Norling moved to Malmö in 2011 from Swedish club Asiriska Foreningen.
