The vice president of Monaco denied the departure of Falka

Radamel Falcao will not leave Monaco and move to Real in January, the vice-president of Monaco Vadim Vasiliev rejected the speculations.

"We have no intention of letting Falcao leave the club, only six months after we gave Atletico Madrid 60 million euros for his transfer," said Vasiliev for the Spanish "Marka".

Commenting on Real president Florentino Perez's statement to Spanish television that Falcao, who is the leading scorer in the French league with eight goals, wants to go to Madrid, Vasiliev said that Falcao has a five-year contract.

"If I have to say it a thousand times, I will say - there is no possibility according to the contract for him to leave the club," Vasiliev said and added that he considers it inappropriate for the president of another club to talk about a player who is contractually bound to Monaco.

"We worked hard to bring him to the club and it would really be senseless to let him go, whether in the winter, in the summer, or at any time," said Vasiljev.

In early October, Falcao also rejected the possibility of leaving Monaco and joining the "royal club" in the January transfer window.
