Football player Diego Košta has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid until 2018.
It was mentioned that the Brazilian striker could move to Liverpool this summer, and the Anfield club reportedly offered 20 million euros.
However, today it was confirmed that the 24-year-old will still play in the Spanish capital.
"I want to thank the club for the offer. I want to spend as much time as possible here and I hope to become a much better player. I have fought for a long time to earn the respect and love of the fans, teammates and people at the club... This is a very special moment for me," Košta told the club's website.
