Falcao: Monaco is not a mistake

Monaco footballer Radamel Falcao promised today that he will prove to skeptics that they were wrong when they said that moving from Atletico Madrid to that club was a mistake.

"We have a clear goal - to win all competitions. Arriving at an institution like Monaco is the wish of every player, and knowing that you will be an important part of the project gives a lot of confidence and peace of mind," said Falcao at the press conference, reports goal.com.

"Many people believe this is a mistake, but I'm sure they won't think so once we win the title," said the Colombian footballer.

Falcao has scored 52 goals in 62 appearances for Atletico Madrid and hopes to continue that in France.

"As I have always said, my goal is to score as many goals as possible because it will be necessary for the title. If I score many goals, I will be happy," said Falcao.
